Project Governance Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Governance Manager to join a leading bank in Saudi Arabia
. The role will be responsible for establishing and overseeing project governance frameworks to ensure effective delivery of strategic and regulatory initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring ex–Big 4 consulting experience and strong exposure to banking environments
, with the ability to work within Saudi regulatory and compliance standards.

• Establish, implement, and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and controls across banking programs and initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Saudi banking regulations
  , internal policies, and governance requirements
• Provide oversight and assurance across project and transformation portfolios, including progress tracking, risk and issue management, and escalation
• Prepare governance dashboards, reports, and materials for senior management and steering committees
• Review project documentation (business cases, plans, delivery artifacts) to ensure quality and compliance
• Work closely with business, IT, risk, compliance, and internal audit teams
• Support regulatory and audit engagements where required
• Drive consistency and best practices in project delivery across the bank

• 8–12+ years of experience in project governance, PMO, or transformation roles
• Previous Big 4 consulting experience (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) is highly preferred
• Proven experience working in banks or financial services organizations
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and governance frameworks applicable in Saudi Arabia
• Experience with large-scale transformation, regulatory, or strategic programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to operate confidently with senior leadership
