Director - Planning - MBS Stadium - SPA

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a visionary and detail-oriented Director of Planning for the MBS Stadium project. In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for steering the planning and execution of one of the centerpiece developments within Qiddiya. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the stadium is designed and delivered to the highest standards while meeting the strategic objectives of the organization.

As the Director of Planning, you will oversee all aspects of project planning, resource allocation, and compliance, contributing to the success of a landmark venue that is set to redefine entertainment and sports experiences in the region.

• Lead the planning and execution processes for the MBS Stadium project, including feasibility studies, timelines, and budget management.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to develop innovative solutions that align with the project's vision.
• Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations throughout the planning and construction phases.
• Monitor project milestones, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and foster relationships with key partners involved in the project.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reporting on progress to senior management and stakeholders.
• Promote sustainability initiatives and ensure the project adheres to environmental and safety standards.
• Mentor junior planning staff and contribute to the professional development of the planning team.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in planning and project management, particularly within large-scale stadium or entertainment projects.
• Proven track record in managing complex, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of relevant regulations, zoning laws, and environmental compliance.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Experience in large-scale infrastructure projects within the GCC region is highly desirable.
