Development Director - Golf; SPA

Qiddiya Investment Company is excited to invite applications for the position of Development Director - Golf to oversee the development of world-class golf facilities within the Qiddiya project. This role is crucial in shaping the future of golf in the region, enhancing Qiddiya’s reputation as a premier destination for sports and entertainment.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in the development and execution of golf-related projects, ensuring they align with the overall vision of Qiddiya while meeting the expectations of both players and visitors.

• Lead the strategic planning and development of golf facilities, including courses, practice areas, and amenities, ensuring an exceptional experience for players and visitors.
• Collaborate with landscape architects, golf course designers, and other specialists to create innovative and sustainable golf environments.
• Conduct market research and feasibility studies to identify trends and opportunities within the golf industry that influence project development.
• Oversee project budgets, timelines, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within financial constraints.
• Engage with local and international stakeholders, including golf associations and tourism bodies, to foster partnerships and enhance collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the design and construction phases.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for the executive team, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and creative solutions.
• Promote innovative ideas for enhancing golfer engagement, and overall facility experience.
• Foster relationships with sponsors, investors, and stakeholders to secure financial support for golf initiatives.
• Stay informed on global trends in golf development and integrate best practices into Qiddiya’s golf projects.

• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 15 years of Development experience and must have extensive golf course development experience
• Strong leadership abilities with experience guiding multidisciplinary teams in complex projects.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in budgeting and financial management for development projects.
• Knowledge of environmental sustainability practices within the sports and recreation industry.
• Familiarity with market trends in the golf sector and an understanding of customer preferences.
