Media Planning Director – Global Agency (Riyadh, KSA)

Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Reporting to: Head of Media / Managing Director

The Role

We are seeking a Media Planning Director to lead media strategy and planning for key accounts in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in media planning and strategy
, a strong understanding of the Saudi market, and the ability to translate brand objectives into impactful media campaigns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead media planning and strategy across all client accounts in KSA
  • Develop integrated media plans that include digital, social, TV, radio, OOH, and emerging media
  • Collaborate closely with account management, creative, and digital teams to ensure campaigns are strategically aligned and deliver results
  • Oversee media buying budgets and ensure cost efficiency and ROI
  • Provide thought leadership and insights on market trends, audience behavior, and competitor activity
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing media planning team
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and act as a strategic advisor
Requirements
  • 8–12+ years’ experience in media planning or strategy, preferably in an agency setting
  • Proven track record of planning and executing integrated campaigns in Saudi Arabia
  • Strong understanding of media buying, audience insights, and measurement metrics
  • Excellent strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Leadership experience with team management and development
  • Strong presentation, communication, and client management skills
  • Fluent in English
    ;
    Arabic is highly desirable
