Job Summary:The Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the leading global data centre facilities management organisation is a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational performance of the entire FM business unit across Saudi Arabia. This role will drive strategic initiatives, ensure operational excellence, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and client satisfaction.
The COO will champion the implementation of quality control measures, leveraging data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance service delivery, improve efficiency, and drive business growth. This position requires a highly experienced Saudi local with a strong understanding of the Saudi Arabian market, a proven track record in facilities management, and a passion for leveraging technology to transform operational processes.
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership & Operational Excellence:
- Develop and implement the overall operational strategy for the client, aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the FM business unit, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of high-quality services across all client portfolios.
- Drive operational excellence by establishing and enforcing standardized processes, procedures, and best practices across all FM operations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction.
- Oversee the development and implementation of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and evaluate operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging the adoption of new technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred. - Experience:
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Director, Vice President, General Manager). - Technical
