Job SummaryThe Shift Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth workflow, productivity, safety compliance, and adherence to company policies. The role involves supervising staff, coordinating tasks, handling operational issues, and maintaining service or production standards as per organizational and Saudi regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage staff during assigned shifts to ensure smooth operations.
- Allocate duties and monitor team performance to meet shift targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and Saudi regulations.
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and quality standards throughout the shift.
- Handle shift handovers, ensuring clear communication of operational updates.
- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and maintain discipline on shift.
- Coordinate with management, maintenance, and support teams for issue resolution.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and shift scheduling.
- Ensure proper use of equipment, tools, and resources.
- Prepare shift reports, incident reports, and daily performance updates.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (relevant technical qualification preferred depending on industry).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Prior experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC is an added advantage.
- Industry-specific experience (manufacturing / logistics / hospitality / retail / facilities / operations) preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).
- Ability to manage teams under pressure and meet shift deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and operational procedures.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Time management and multitasking abilities.
