Professional Services Delivery Leader, Middle East & Africa

We are seeking an experienced Services Delivery Leader (SDL) to join our Professional Services team for the Middle East & Africa (MEA), based in Riyadh. The SDL will lead a team of Delivery Consultants, Architects, TAM and Residents aligned to the Sales Territory. The person will be responsible for the delivery of Professional Services sold in the region. This includes ensuring that customers receive positive business outcomes from the services delivered and have a positive customer experience.

Role
  • Define and drive the services strategy relating to the region.
  • Business management – increase bookings and revenue, reduce costs, improve margins, and eliminate waste.
  • Team Development (hiring, development, utilization) – Attract and nurture top talent and; develop a team of best in class technical delivery Consultants, Architects, Residents, and Technical Account Managers.
  • Quality management – govern quality and ensure delivery in a manner that is consistent with Nutanix Professional Services best practices.
  • Partner management – provide support, guidance, and oversight to partners who deliver on behalf of Nutanix and help ensure their success.
  • Escalation management – addressing and managing complex customer issues and providing recommendations that are aligned with account strategy.
  • Process & change management – Define, monitor, and improve processes and functions. Ensure alignment with the organization's goals and standards.
  • Drive high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Build strong relationships with regional VP’s of sales and SE Directors. Be someone they regularly rely on to open up new opportunities, solve problems and deliver customer delight, which ultimately leads to product sales growth.
  • Participate in the pre‑sales process with account teams, consulting architects, and customers to understand business and technical requirements in order to effectively scope and deliver effective solutions. Develop and approve project SOWs (scope, level of effort estimates, and schedules) prior to presentation to the Nutanix Account team and customers.
  • Develop and maintain a solid technical understanding of all Nutanix services offerings, product lines, and corporate messaging.
  • Demonstrate steadfast and sound decision‑making abilities to resolve problems.
  • Establish a repeatable cadence in partnering with Nutanix Product Marketing, Product Management, and Engineering to feed back field input to the product development lifecycle.
What You Will Bring
  • 10+ years of relevant Professional Services experience in the Gulf/Middle East.
  • 5+ years’ direct people management experience leading a team of 10+ in a professional service team “delivery” environment, preferably with a software company, consulting organization or “Big 4” firm.
  • Experience with financial forecasts and reporting on a Pro Services business (upside, strong, commit…)
  • 2+ years experience creating, interpreting, modifying Statements of Work (SOW)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Consistently delivers on deadlines and takes proactive responsibility for tasks assigned; anticipates the need.
  • Possess a positive attitude with high levels of self‑awareness, professionalism, ownership. Willing to admit mistakes openly and take ownership of corrections.
  • Ability to identify, attract and retain top talent.
  • Proven track record planning and managing large, customer‑facing programs and IT transformations.
  • Strong skills in strategic planning, critical thinking, and financial analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management along with the ability to build one’s own “brand”.
