Business Management, Client Relationship Manager
The Business Director is responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and strategic direction of the agency’s Riyadh operations. Positioned at the intersection of client leadership, team development, and marketing innovation, this role oversees a multi-disciplinary Marcom team delivering high-quality, insight-driven, and digital enabled solutions for a digital platform. The BD will lead client relationships, guide project execution, and ensure agency offerings remain ahead of market trends and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities1. Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary contact for senior client stakeholders, ensuring consistent delivery, satisfaction, and retention.
Lead strategic discussions, performance reviews, and campaign planning sessions.
Translate client needs into creative, media, and strategic solutions that align with both product goals and user needs.
Protect and grow the agency-client relationship through trust, responsiveness, and proactive thinking.
2. Business DevelopmentIdentify and pursue growth opportunities within existing client scopes and across government, semi-government, and digital-first sectors.
Lead proposal development, RFP responses, and pitch presentations.
Work with agency leadership to craft commercial strategies, negotiate contracts, and close high-value engagements.

Duties include:
- Building a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing culture.
- Managing team development, mentoring, and coaching.
- Ensuring optimal resource allocation, workflow management, and delivery excellence.
The Business Director holds full responsibility for the financial performance of the agency’s Riyadh-based operations and client engagements.
P&L Ownership:
Oversee account-level profitability and contribute to agency-wide financial health by ensuring client work is commercially viable and efficiently executed.
Budget Management:
Develop, monitor, and optimize client and departmental budgets (creative, media, strategy, etc.).
Revenue Growth:
Drive organic growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities and collaborating with business development on new initiatives.
Cost Efficiency:
Champion operational efficiencies across resources, workflows, and deliverables.
Financial Reporting:
Partner with finance to ensure accurate forecasting, reconciliation, and transparent reporting of revenue, expenses, and margin performance.
Understand the unique marketing requirements of digital platforms—such as user acquisition, app installs, retention strategies, and performance loops.
Leverage behavioral data, CRM insights, and media analytics to inform strategy and optimize campaigns.
Bridge product, marketing, and user experience to create cohesive, high-impact brand narratives across channels.
6. Cultural Leadership & Agency LoyaltyAct as a senior ambassador of Interesting Times, upholding its creative integrity, operational excellence, and team values.
Reinforce a culture of trust, innovation, and purpose-driven work.
Ensure alignment between agency vision and client expectations, preserving long-term partnership health.
Engage in agency transformation programs, operational improvement efforts, and leadership forums.
Key Competencies- Strong leadership with a balance of creative, strategic, and commercial thinking
- Proven success in digital marketing, app-based business environments, or government communications
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- Fluency in managing cross-functional teams and high-output delivery operations
- Financially literate with budget, margin, and forecast management experience
- Experience in integrated marketing or advertising roles, with a proven track record in client growth and team leadership
