The Legal Advisor provides legal advice and support to business stakeholders across the company to ensure sound decision-making, contractual protection, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in Saudi Arabia. The role covers contract drafting and negotiation, legal risk management, governance support, and dispute management, while coordinating with internal teams and external counsel when needed.

• Legal Advisory to the Business
• Provide timely, practical legal guidance on day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and commercial decisions.
• Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Contracts Drafting, Review & Negotiation
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements (services, procurement, construction, leasing, partnerships, NDAs, MOUs, etc.).
• Ensure contracts reflect company policies, approval authorities (DOA), and applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain and continuously improve standard templates, clause libraries, and contract playbooks.
• Corporate Governance & Compliance Support
• Support governance requirements, internal approvals, legal memos, and documentation as required.
li>Monitor relevant regulatory updates and advise stakeholders on business impact and required actions.
• Promote legal awareness and compliance culture through guidance and internal briefings where needed.
• Support dispute resolution, claims, and litigation matters in coordination with relevant departments.
• Prepare legal summaries, documentation packs, and position notes; manage case files and timelines.
• Liaise with and oversee external counsel, including scope, performance, and cost management.
• Contribute to legal risk assessments and control frameworks, ensuring appropriate contractual protections.
• Advise on liability, indemnities, limitations, warranties, and other risk allocation mechanisms.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Investment, Projects, HR, and Operations to ensure legally compliant execution.
• Provide clear guidance to non-legal stakeholders, translating legal concepts into actionable business terms.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law (or equivalent). A Master’s degree and/or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Typically 6–10 years of legal experience, preferably within investment groups, diversified companies, or complex commercial environments.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts drafting, negotiation, and legal risk management.
• Working knowledge of Saudi regulations relevant to business operations (e.g., Companies Law, Labor Law, commercial and civil frameworks, and sector-related regulations).
• Excellent Arabic legal drafting skills; strong English proficiency is highly preferred for contracts and correspondence.
