Job Purpose:

The role shall help construct and execute a framework for the collection, maintenance and analysis of metering, customer & network data across the utilities. This includes shaping the foundational elements that would enable the team to identify data sources, clean data, construct suitable data architectures, analyze data relevant to operational parameters and share relevant data with concerned functions as per their requirements.

Accordingly, the framework would help drive customer‑centered decision making in terms of identifying root causes and preventative measures for operational efficiency as well as enhancing customer engagement and experience.

The role of Senior Manager – Data Analytics holds the responsibility of overseeing all aspects of data analysis and reporting to optimize TRSUC operations and drive efficiency.

Key tasks will include advancing strategies that guide best practices for customer usage patterns analysis through comprehensive data analytics, providing actionable insights based on metering, customer & network data as well as managing projects with a specific emphasis on new and emerging technologies in metering and utilities.

• Design and implement a framework for the collection, maintenance and analysis of data across the utilities.

• Coordinate the development and implementation of the data analytics strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Plan strategies for efficient data collection, maintenance and analysis of utilities.
• Help identify insights and value drivers from the data received.
• Establish a framework for advanced data analysis and predictive modeling.
• Set strategic direction for data governance and data security.

• Lead the formulation of a foundational data analysis framework that identifies suitable data sources, architectures, analysis methods.
• Oversee data analysis of utilities across metering, customer & distribution network for operational efficiency.
• Help deduce data‑driven insights that identify the root‑causes of operational failures.
• Provide compiled analytics with actionable recommendations to concerned functions as per their requirements.
• Employ predictive analytics to forecast utility trends and incidents and accordingly coordinate with incident management.
• Leverage quantitative analysis for customer engagement and experience initiatives.
• Develop procedures for data collection & maintenance ensuring quality and integrity.
• Develop measures to periodically monitor existing customer accounts energy consumption and ensure whenever overall consumption exceeds average / predefined threshold, end user is informed through the customer services team.
