Information Technology Governance Expert

Job Purpose

Leading ZATCA’s IT governance initiatives, working independently with minimal direction to achieve pre-defined long-term objectives. Overseeing the implementation of operational plans and enhancing and developing policies and standards, procedures, standards, and reports. Support the implementation and development of IT governance practices and frameworks within ZATCA by overseeing the alignment of IT strategies and activities with corporate objectives and ensuring compliance with relevant policies, standards, and controls.

Provide expert advice on IT governance, risk, and compliance in the areas of governance, risk management, compliance, and performance measurement. Monitor the maturity of IT processes and ensure the quality of their outputs in line with international best practices and standards (such as COBIT, ITIL, and ISO 38500).

• Develop and implement an IT governance framework, including policies, standards, and guidelines, to ensure alignment with strategic objectives and global best practices
• Review and update policies, processes, and organizational frameworks periodically to keep pace with technological developments and business needs
• Contribute to improving the quality of IT services by monitoring the implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and reviewing actual performance against targets
• Participate in developing and formulating IT governance and digitization standards and procedures within a guiding framework.
• Oversee the implementation of operational plans and activities related to the application of IT governance frameworks and ensure their alignment with ZATCA's strategic objectives

• Oversee the implementation of policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks within daily operations to ensure compliance with governance
• Follow all relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures to ensure proper work execution.
• Organize the activities and resources necessary to efficiently implement IT governance and digitization requirements and practices
• Monitor the implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and performance indicators, and analyze any deviations from targets
• Monitor the operational performance of technical teams and operations, including change management, problem management, and incident management

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology Management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent ,COBIT and ITIL are preferred
