Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 6/7/8/9 environments.
Perform OS patching and lifecycle management using Red Hat Satellite, YUM, and third-party repositories.
Handle Linux OS recovery, including bare-metal recovery from backups.
Troubleshoot boot issues, kernel panics, LVM, file system, and performance issues.
Manage NFS/CIFS, storage integrations (SAN/NAS), and Oracle disk mappings with udev rules.
Implement and troubleshoot SSH (key-based authentication), PAM, LDAP/IPA/IDM integrations.
Monitor server performance using tools like top, sar, vmstat, and system logs.
Follow ITIL/ITSM processes, SLAs, DRP, and BCP requirements.
Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Open Shift Container Platform (OCP) using IPI/UPI methods.
Administer and maintain Kubernetes and Open Shift clusters for high availability and performance.
Manage Operators, Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs), and cluster scaling.
Perform periodic upgrades aligned with Red Hat releases and SLAs.
Troubleshoot cluster, infrastructure, and application-level issues.
Implement security best practices and RBAC policies within Open Shift.
Automation, Monitoring & CI/CD
Automate administration tasks using Ansible and shell scripting.
Support and integrate CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Open Shift Pipelines or similar).
Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions:
Optimize cluster and application performance.
Managing Registries
Work closely with development teams to support deployments and operations.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Create and maintain system documentation, SOPs, and operational standards.
Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience with Linux (RHEL) administration.
Proven experience with Kubernetes and Open Shift administration.
Experience with Red Hat Satellite, patching, and system hardening.
Solid understanding of Linux boot process, storage, networking, and security.
Experience with Ansible, shell scripting, and automation.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Good to Have / AdvantageExperience with VMware 6/7 and virtualization.
Exposure to AI/ML workloads, NVIDIA GPU drivers, CUDA, or GPU scheduling in Kubernetes.
Knowledge of containerized AI applications.
