The Data Center Capacity Delivery Asia‑Pacific Controls Deployment and Service (DCCD APAC CDS) team delivers and services the control systems that monitor and ensure the health of our data centers. APAC CDS’ mission is to safely provide our customers with unmatched reliability, security, and performance that AWS is known for. APAC CDS covers three core disciplines of deployments (of control systems in new data centers), projects (of controls capital improvement works at live data center sites), and service (of control systems at live data center sites), with additional specializations in the disciplines of colocated sites, systems engineering, controls fleet, on‑call support (of data center control systems in the Americas (AMER), Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), as part of a global “follow‑the‑sun” support arrangement), and governance.

AWS's Controls Deployment and Service (CDS) Systems Engineers are responsible for the scaling and maintenance of the Amazon Control Systems across our global data center infrastructure. As a Systems Engineer in the APAC CDS team, you will play a critical role in deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting the various components that make up the Control Systems architecture. This includes configuring device settings, diagnosing technical issues, deploying software changes, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure the successful operation of Amazon Control Systems across our data centers.

You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of Amazon Control Systems support practices. You will work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, leveraging your strong technical skills and problem‑solving abilities to keep our critical infrastructure running smoothly.

• Configure and maintain device settings, collaborating with Controls Engineering and Software teams on sequence of operations. Ensure accurate system configuration management across sites.
• Deploy software updates and manage controller provisioning. Deliver timely and successful software deployments with minimal service disruptions.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for the Amazon Control System components, including mechanical, electrical, and software systems. Quickly diagnose and resolve incidents impacting system functionality and data center operations.
