Open Shift / Kubernetes Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled Open Shift / Kubernetes Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in hands‑on Open Shift 4.x implementation within production environments, excels in Kubernetes architecture and administration, and has substantial experience in cloud migration (On‑prem to Cloud – Azure, AWS, GCP). A strong foundation in Linux/RHEL, alongside a robust understanding of Dev Ops practices, including Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipeline design, is essential for success in this role.
MainResponsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage Open Shift solutions in production.
- Oversee Kubernetes architecture, including optimization and scaling.
- Facilitate migration processes from on‑premises systems to cloud environments.
- Implement Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops methodologies across teams.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools.
- Provide expertise in Linux administration, specifically RHEL.
- Hands‑on Open Shift 4.x implementation experience in production environments.
- Proven knowledge in Kubernetes architecture and administration.
- Experience with migration from On‑prem to Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Proficient in Dev Ops / Dev Sec Ops practices.
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Ansible).
- Familiarity in designing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
- Strong Linux / RHEL foundation.
- Multi‑cloud exposure, preferably Azure and AWS.
- Red Hat certifications (RHCE / Open Shift Delivery Specialist).
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or cloud certifications (AWS, Azure).
- Experience in large enterprise or regulated environments (Banking, Automotive, Telecom, etc.).
The position involves working in a dynamic environment with potential for remote work. Duration and specific industry details will be discussed in further conversations. Ideal candidates will have a comprehensive background in cloud solutions and Open Shift architecture.
