Microsoft 365 Migration & Support Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration & Support Consultant to lead a full tenant-to-tenant migration and provide post-migration support for a Microsoft 365 Business Premium environment.
This engagement involves migrating a small organization (6–12 users) from a GoDaddy-managed Microsoft 365 tenant to a new Microsoft 365 Business Premium tenant, including the transfer of up to 1 TB of data per user (Exchange Online, One Drive, Teams, SharePoint).
The consultant will manage the full lifecycle: migration, security configuration, device enrollment, hypercare support, and long-term stabilization.
- Total Duration: 12 months
- Phase 1 (First 3 Months): Migration + On-site stabilization support (8×5 business hours)
- Phase 2 (Remaining Period): Remote support under agreed SLA (on-demand model)
Environment is fully cloud-based (no on-premises or hybrid integrations).
- Migrate from GoDaddy-managed Microsoft 365 to new Business Premium tenant
- Perform mailbox, Teams, SharePoint, and One Drive migrations
- Configure custom domain & DNS
- Ensure secure identity migration via Azure AD / Entra
- Validate full data integrity post-migration
- Fully configured and operational Microsoft 365 Business Premium tenant
- Successful migration of all user data (mailboxes, files, Teams data)
- Domain verification and tested mail flow
- Migration validation report
- Implement Microsoft 365 security baseline
- Configure Conditional Access & MFA
- Configure Exchange Online protection & compliance policies
- Documented security baseline
- Active Conditional Access & MFA enforcement
- Defender and email security fully operational
- Security configuration & knowledge transfer documentation
- Enroll Windows 10/11 devices in Intune
- Configure Outlook & Teams across all user devices
- Troubleshoot connectivity & configuration issues
- All corporate devices enrolled and compliant
- Device inventory documentation
- Users fully operational on new tenant
- Provide 3 months of on-site first-line support
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Teams, Exchange, device issues
- Conduct user training (English & Arabic)
- Implement ticketing and issue tracking
- Handover to long-term support model
- SLA-aligned support during hypercare
- Documented handover & support procedures
- Ticket log & issue resolution report
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Microsoft 365 administration & migration
- Proven experience in tenant-to-tenant migrations (including GoDaddy-managed tenants preferred)
- Strong expertise in Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, One Drive, Microsoft Teams
- Experience with migration tools (Microsoft native tools or third-party)
- Strong troubleshooting & helpdesk background (L1/L2 support)
- Fluency in English & Arabic (written & spoken)
- Microsoft 365 Modern Desktop Administrator
- Microsoft 365 Security Administrator
- ITIL Foundation
- Security certifications (e.g., CISSP)
Familiarity with regional data protection standards (e.g., PDPL) is preferred.
