Archer Associate Pre Sales Consultants, or Sales Engineers, support the sales team in understanding customer and prospect business requirements and product needs. In this mid‑level role, you will learn to position Archer offerings as the solution of choice while developing your expertise in the Risk domain under the guidance of our most senior team members.
You will assist in providing product advice to sales teams focused on new business development and existing account management. As an Associate Pre Sales Consultant (APC) you will support driving new business with prospective customers and expansion business within existing accounts. This position will assist in organizing and coordinating pre‑sales engagement activities while learning the full Archer sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with business process consulting in the presales phase and support technology discussions within each opportunity
- Support requirements gathering at customer and prospect sites, participate in sales calls alongside senior team members
- Learn to articulate the value proposition of Archer including features, use cases, and integration capabilities
- Deliver standard presentations and product demonstrations to customers and prospects with guidance from senior consultants
- Assist in conducting customer evaluations including Proof‑of‑Concepts, initially under supervision from more senior team members
- Support RFx responses by contributing product and technical content and assisting with proposal preparation
- Work with Professional Services counterparts to learn functional requirements processes and support scoping and statement‑of‑work preparation
- Communicate customer feedback to product teams and senior consultants
- Develop knowledge and hands‑on proficiency with the Archer product and learn about competitor offerings
- Participate in enablement sessions, training courses, and knowledge sharing within the wider consultant community
- Travel up to 50% to client locations for demonstrations and presentations within your region, plus occasional travel for training and company events
- Ability to communicate effectively with varying levels of business, functional, and technical personnel
- Interest in learning about business process analysis and customer management approaches
- Problem‑solving mindset with eagerness to learn innovative solutions to customer challenges
- Understanding of or willingness to learn about regulations and industry standards such as DORA, CRA, EU AI Act, GDPR, ISO, NIS2, SAMA, SOX, and other compliance frameworks
- Ability to work independently with guidance as well as collaborate across multiple teams
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fluent English and Arabic is essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, OR 1–2 years of relevant work experience in business consultancy, software, customer‑facing roles, or risk management
- Previous mid‑level experience in presales, consulting, or technical sales is a must
- Interest in pursuing or existing certifications such as CRISC, CISA, or similar risk management credentials is desirable
- Existing experience or understanding of enterprise software, web technologies, and GRC/IRM concepts preferred
