Manager - Engineering AI & Data

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Engineering (AI & Data) to design, implement, and advance enterprise data management capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong, recent experience in the Upstream sector, along with a proven ability to lead high-performing teams and deliver complex data programs.

• Design and mature enterprise-wide data management frameworks and capabilities.
• Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams, providing ongoing performance feedback and career development support.
• Drive delivery across core data domains, including:
  Data Governance, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Master & Reference Data Management, Data Architecture, Data Lineage & Data Integration.
• Implement and integrate leading data management platforms such as Collibra, Informatica Axon, One Trust, Erwin, Talend, and Alation.
• Lead integration initiatives across major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Navigate and address OT/IT integration challenges within industrial environments.

• 10–15 years of experience in data management or related disciplines.
• Significant, demonstrable experience within the oil & gas sector (Upstream and Downstream).
• Proven track record delivering large-scale data governance, metadata, data quality, or master data programs for ER&I / oil & gas clients.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data platforms and cloud ecosystems.
• Experience with Informatica is a strong advantage.
