Responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting hospital and healthcare information systems, ensuring efficient operation, data integrity, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain Health Information Systems (HIS) and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) platforms.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for healthcare staff using IT systems.
- Monitor system performance, security, and backup procedures to protect sensitive patient data.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to implement IT solutions that improve workflow efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy standards (e.g., HIPAA or local regulations).
- Train staff on proper use of health IT systems and software updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience with hospital IT systems, EMR, or HIS software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of network infrastructure.
- Understanding of healthcare regulations and data security requirements.
