Job Purpose
The IT Support Specialist provides effective IT assistance across all aspects of the business and will provide the advanced support to the IT Administration team and Management. He/ She is responsible for supporting and maintaining the of all IT-related hardware/software. The position provides exposure to complete range of IT-related projects and activities and day to day operations.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnoses & resolves technical hardware and software issues.
- Support all the site(s) IT activities and the local IT site operations.
- Install, configure, troubleshoot computers, mobile devices (IOS and Android).
- End to end knowledge on IOS and Android Features and supporting skills.
- Installs, configures maintains printers, copiers, AV systems, Meeting room equipment, Microsoft Teams, Zoom clients.
- Configures official email via internet on mobile phone devices.
- Perform periodic patch management for all computers and fix if any errors.
- Ensures business related software applications are installed and updated timely.
- Requests, follows-up, configures, operates and monitors site internet connection.
- Implement corporate polices in the site and escalate in case of any conflicts.
- Good in ITIL Process knowledge and provide the end user support within SLA and criticality.
- Performs other duties as required.
- Safeguard AMICO Information’s as per Information protection requirement.
- Report an Information Security incident timely manner and take action as per IT Security team recommendation.
- Support implementing IT Infrastructure and Security products and its compliance.
- Participate and support an information security awareness, training and educational activities, Participate and support an information security risk assessments and controls selection activities , Participate and support an Information security audits and remediation.
- Participate and support relating to contingency planning, business continuity management and IT disaster recovery in conjunction with relevant functions and third parties.
- Comply with IT Policies (Governance and IT Security) and comply with all applicable system and security controls /Clause and LAWs.
- Prioritize Information security activities and ensure it is part of day to day responsibilities.
