IT Asset and Configuration officer

We are looking for an IT Asset and Configuration Officer to join our team. The role involves establishing effective governance for IT assets and Configuration Items (CIs), managing IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) processes, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and standards.

• Develop and implement ITAM and Configuration Management policies in line with best practices.
• Oversee the maintenance and updating of the CMDB to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Manage the lifecycle of IT assets to maximize value and minimize costs.
• Ensure compliance with software licenses and relevant regulations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary reports and data.
• Manage vendor relationships and details related to contracts and agreements.

• 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in IT Asset Management (ITAM) and CMDB management.
• Experience working with ITSM platforms such as Service Now or similar.
• Strong knowledge of the ITIL framework; ITIL certification is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage with various management levels.
• Leadership skills and the ability to guide and motivate teams.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
