Overview
Strong monitoring prevents issues turning into major outages. It keeps services steady and predictable. Role purpose To provide real‑time visibility of systems, identify anomalies quickly, and escalate issues using agreed processes.
Responsibilities- Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services using approved tools
- Spot unusual patterns, alerts, or service disruptions
- Validate alerts before escalation
- Escalate in line with the documented workflow
- Keep monitoring logs complete and accurate
Profil
ExpectationsSMART expectations
- Respond to alerts in line with contractual SLAs and KPIs
- Follow escalation steps with zero deviation
- Maintain logs suitable for SLA reporting
- Highlight recurring issues to help avoid SLA breaches
- Up to 2 Years of prior experience would be of benefit
- Ability to use monitoring tools (dashboards, alerting systems)
- Strong attention to detail
- Clear written communication for logs and handovers
- Understanding of ITIL concepts
- Ability to work in a structured environment
