Are you a results-driven payment systems leader with a passion for creating seamless, secure, and high-performing financial solutions?

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Payments professional to own and shape our end-to-end payment and card operations. In this pivotal role, you will ensure the stability, resilience, and always-on availability of our payment platforms across every customer touchpoint.

A key part of this role will be to develop and execute strategies to maximise payment acceptance, optimise sales conversion, and deliver a superior customer payment experience whilst maintaining full compliance with regulatory, scheme, and security standards.

You will also manage the end-to-end lifecycle of payment methods and services within the airline’s payment orchestration platform, overseeing critical functions including authorisation, settlement, refunds, and chargebacks.

Further, you can expect to lead relationships with acquirers, gateways, and technology partners, ensuring operational excellence through well-defined SLAs and governance.

Leveraging data, analytics, and experimentation, you will champion continuous improvement initiatives using insights and A/B testing to enhance payment performance, manage risk, and unlock new growth opportunities.

Degree qualified, you will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in payments, financial services, or airline payment operations, including at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.

You are expected to possess hands-on experience in payment orchestration platforms, gateways, acquirers, and card schemes, with demonstrated expertise in multi-channel integrations, authorization, and settlement processes. A solid understanding of BSP/ARC flows, PCI DSS compliance, card scheme rules, and risk management frameworks is essential.

You will have a proven track record of managing vendor relationships, defining and monitoring SLAs, and resolving operational incidents effectively.
