SRE Consultant - AppDynamics

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SRE Consultant specializing in App Dynamics to implement, optimize, and drive the adoption of our Application Performance Monitoring (APM) practice. Deep hands-on expertise with App Dynamics, and a proven ability to analyze complex application performance issues, deliver effective solutions, and consult with engineering teams.

The SRE Consultant will be responsible for the expert implementation, configuration, and continuous optimization of the App Dynamics platform, acting as a technical subject matter expert (SME) to engineering and operations teams.

• App Dynamics Implementation & Optimization.
• Performance Analysis & Incident Resolution.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for high-priority performance incidents, utilizing deep transaction, infrastructure, and code-level analysis within App Dynamics to perform swift Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Provide definitive and actionable recommendations to development and SRE teams to resolve complex performance bottlenecks.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to development, operations, and product teams, assisting them in leveraging App Dynamics for proactive performance management and design review.
• Develop and deliver hands-on training and documentation on App Dynamics best practices to upskill internal engineering teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in IT Operations, Application Development, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
