CISO

We are supporting the hiring for a CISO role on behalf of an internationally recognized banking institution.

This organization serves as a strategic link between Middle Eastern economies and Asia’s financial hubs, delivering corporate and investment banking expertise across borders. With a strong regional presence and a global network, it offers tailored financial solutions through branches and offices across key Middle Eastern markets.

This position leads all cybersecurity efforts for the Riyadh branch, ensuring full compliance with Saudi Arabian cybersecurity laws and regulations, particularly those issued by SAMA. The role also supports regional cybersecurity initiatives across the Middle East and advises senior management on evolving regulatory requirements.

• Act as the branch’s cybersecurity authority, maintaining expertise in SAMA’s Cybersecurity Framework.
• Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies, policies, and procedures tailored to local and regional needs.
• Monitor SOC activities, manage incident response, and analyze threat intelligence.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and support internal/external audits.
• Lead cybersecurity awareness and training programs for staff, including onboarding and periodic refreshers.
• Represent the branch in regional cybersecurity committees and regulatory forums.
• Oversee physical security responsibilities and manage third-party vendors.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure consistent cybersecurity governance and business continuity.

• Proven experience in cybersecurity within the KSA financial sector, ideally in a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of SAMA regulations and local systems such as SARIE.
• Familiarity with ITSM, ITIL, and project management methodologies.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Eligible for CISO approval by SAMA
