Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior System Administrator responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, and administration of Enterprise Systems, including Application Servers, Database Servers, Backup Solutions, and Enterprise‑Level Storage. This role requires a focus on ensuring reliability, stability, and security while maintaining continuity of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of the Enterprise Systems Infrastructure to ensure smooth execution.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Assist the Lead Systems Administrator in managing daily operations and activities.
  • Contribute to job enhancement initiatives and role enrichment.
  • Provide troubleshooting support to end‑users and System Support Administrators for Enterprise Systems.
  • Identify and resolve problems, incidents, and errors within designated domains, sharing knowledge with the team as needed.
  • Enforce the Acceptable Usage Policy relevant to the assigned domain.
  • Ensure availability of services within the Enterprise Systems Infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and records related to configurations (both logical and physical).
  • Comply with and implement relevant policies, including the Information Systems Security Policy.
  • Manage routine and ad‑hoc preventive maintenance activities, including OS patches and security updates.
  • Oversee User Profile Management and Service Accounts, including creation, deletion, modification, access control, and quota management.
  • Execute the Patch Management Process for relevant domains.
  • Conduct server audits in alignment with approved audit scopes (internal/external).
  • Implement the pre‑approved Disaster Recovery Plan and Backup Plans for Enterprise Systems.
  • Perform scheduled restore activities to ensure backup integrity.
  • Manage backup media and handle related tasks for designated domains.
  • Execute Services Restoration activities in disaster scenarios, conducting Root‑Cause Analysis (RCA) of incidents and ensuring permanent fixes are deployed.
  • Conduct the Backup Management process, including backups and restorations for Servers, Storage, Applications, and Databases.
  • Perform planned drill tests for relevant domains and document results.
  • Monitor user issues and provide timely resolutions.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Enterprise Systems Administration (e.g., Microsoft) and Storage Management Solutions (e.g., EMC, HP), including Clustering Technologies (e.g., Microsoft Cluster) and SAN/NAS Technologies.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing Enterprise Systems.
  • Graduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, MCTIP, and SAN Storage are required. Additional certifications in SharePoint, MS‑SQL, Anti‑Spam, Antivirus, and Backup Solutions are a plus.
  • Ability to manage and guide personnel through problem resolution.
