Job Role Profile:

The Cybersecurity Specialist supports Security Operations Center (SOC) activities by monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events and incidents. The role focuses on leveraging SIEM and endpoint security tools, validating and classifying incidents, supporting incident response processes, and collaborating with MDR teams to ensure continuous protection of critical assets and overall security effectiveness.

• Use SIEM tools to collect, correlate, and analyze security logs and events across multiple systems.
• Contribute to reviewing and ensuring log source coverage for all critical assets.
• Validate, triage, and classify security alerts and incidents based on severity and impact.
• Support containment, eradication, and recovery activities using predefined incident response playbooks for threats such as ransomware attacks, phishing campaigns, and lateral movement activities.
• Assist in Threat Hunting activities to identify hidden or emerging threats within the environment.
• Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to measure SOC effectiveness and performance.
• Contribute to post-incident reports
  , including executive summary, incident timeline, root cause analysis, impact assessment, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with the MDR team to follow up on alerts and ensure readiness and effectiveness of endpoint protection systems.
• Support continuous improvement of SOC processes, procedures, and security controls.

Talent Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are preferred, such as:
  Security+, CEH.
• Proven experience +3 years in cybersecurity.
