Specialist – Asset IT Security Operation Responsibilities
- Operate and secure network and security infrastructure
- Configure and manage firewalls (Forti Gate, Palo Alto, Cisco), VPNs, NAT, and routing
- Monitor and investigate security alerts (firewall, WAF, email, endpoint)
- Manage WAF, email security, and endpoint protection (AV/EDR)
- Support incident response, remediation, and security operations
- Maintain security documentation and support audits and compliance
- Hands‑on experience with firewalls, VPNs, WAF, email security, and endpoint protection
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, and network security zones
- Knowledge of common threats (phishing, malware, web attacks)
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience with Fortinet, Trend Micro, or similar vendors (preferred)
- Security certifications (CCNA/CCNP Security, NSE 4, Security+) are a plus
