Awtad is looking for a talented Network Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and security across all operational sites. You will play a crucial role in optimizing network performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing cutting‑edge network solutions to support the company's operations. • Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks to support company operations
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary improvements
• Ensure the security of network systems by implementing best practices and monitoring for vulnerabilities
• Manage and optimize network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
• Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of new technologies and best practices
• Document network configurations, changes, and updates for future reference
• Provide technical support and guidance to staff on network‑related issues
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking trends, technologies, and best practices

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role
• Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.) and architecture
• Experience with network hardware configuration (routers, switches, firewalls)
• Experience with network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies
• Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for network security
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for technical documentation
• Expertise in Microsoft Visio for designing network diagrams and infrastructure layouts
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
