Overview

The Global Services, Security (GSS) team at Amazon Web Services focuses on scalable, security-focused solutions for internal and external customers. The AWS Security Assurance Services team works with enterprise customers to operationalize the shared responsibility model during cloud migrations. We are seeking a talented Practice Manager to expand the Security Assurance practice, educate customers on product-led, people-powered services, and demonstrate how compliance objectives can be achieved on AWS.

This is a customer-facing role at the intersection of cloud, cybersecurity, and compliance, with opportunities to work across multiple lines of business and contribute to a variety of security and compliance use cases.

• Expertise – Build and lead teams delivering governance, risk, compliance, and security objectives.
• Solutions – Define security, compliance, and risk management approaches that help customers move sensitive workloads to the cloud faster.
• Delivery – Engage with customers to resolve security assurance questions, manage risk, and achieve security and compliance objectives in AWS through strategic presentations, recommendations, and hands-on demonstrations of automating compliance.
• Insights – Collaborate with AWS engineering, support, and business teams to incorporate partner and customer feedback into AWS roadmaps.
• Travel – Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
• Relationships – Build long-lasting customer relationships to support Business Development and Customer Success efforts of AWS Security Assurance Services.

Teams across AWS—Professional Services, Training and Certification, Support and Managed Services, and Security Assurance Services—collaborate to help customers achieve their objectives. We partner with AWS Partners, AWS Sovereign Cloud, AWS International Product, and the Generative AI Innovation Center to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

• 10+ years of IT consulting/management with IT transformation in customer-facing roles
• 3+ years of program or engagement management leading multiple concurrent projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field
• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud transition challenges
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise IT projects

• Knowledge of COBIT or ITIL frameworks
• Experience integrating AWS cloud services with on-premise technologies (e.g., Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP)
• Experience with customer relationship management, especially C-suite engagement
• Experience designing modern, scalable delivery models for technology consulting services
