Senior DevOps Engineer - On-site Banking Platform Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Dev Ops Engineer to join our team as a dedicated on‑site resource for a major bank in Riyadh. This role requires deep, hands‑on experience in Open Shift, excellent communication skills, and the ability to serve as the primary technical liaison between the bank and our software development teams.

• Technical liaison and communication: serve as the central technical point of contact on site, facilitating clear communication between the client and the core software platform provider.
• Dev Ops & platform management: take technical ownership of the platform’s infrastructure, focusing on CI/CD, automation and stability; plan, coordinate and execute new deployments, upgrades and patches.
• System health & Open Shift operations: proactively monitor performance, container orchestration and availability using APM tools; leverage Open Shift knowledge to manage and troubleshoot the container platform environment.
• Incident & problem management: provide hands‑on Level 1 and Level 2 support; lead incident investigations, perform root‑cause analysis and manage the bug‑tracking lifecycle.
• Strategic technical contribution: collaborate with the bank and internal teams to identify opportunities for infrastructure improvements, automation and performance tuning.

• Extensive hands‑on experience with Dev Ops tools and principles, specifically with Open Shift Container Platform (OCP).
• Proven experience in a technical or Dev Ops role within the banking or financial services industry.
• Strong technical expertise in modern banking systems and architecture.
• Proficiency in using system monitoring and application performance management (APM) tools.
• Excellent database skills, including advanced SQL and experience with Oracle databases.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills and a talent for methodical incident investigation.
• A proactive, self‑motivated individual who can work independently on site while being part of a remote team.

• Demonstrable knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with Nexus Repository Manager.
