Position:
Food & Beverage Host at JW Marriott Hotel Riyadh, located on King Fahad Road.
Schedule:
Full Time, Non‑Management, located on site (not remote). Job Number: .
- Receive guests, determine group size, and indicate seating, providing a clean and available table.
- Guide guests through the dining area and provide assistance as needed.
- Move and arrange tables, chairs, and cutlery, and organize the layout for groups with special needs.
- Ensure cutlery is appropriate and each guest has a napkin, clean cutlery, and any standard component.
- Check menus to ensure they are updated, clean, complete, and wrinkle‑free.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day through a constant cleaning procedure.
- Control seating availability, service, safety, and guest well‑being in the dining area.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, and provide training and obtain safety certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, keep confidentiality of patented information, and protect company assets.
- Receive and recognize all guests in accordance with company standards.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language and answer phones using the appropriate protocol.
- Develop and maintain positive work relationships with others, support the team to reach common objectives, and listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
- Ensure compliance with expectations and quality standards.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time.
- Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and locate without help objects that weigh 10 pounds or less.
- Execute other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent certificate of a General Educational Development (GED) program.
- Related work experience: No related work experience required; prior experience in food‑service environments will be considered a plus.
- Supervisor experience: No supervisory experience required.
- License or certification: None.
