Senior Market Access Manager

About This Role

As the Senior Market Access Manager for Biogen in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you will be a pivotal figure on the Market Access team, reporting directly to the Head of Market Access, GCC. Your primary responsibility will be to shape and execute Biogen’s value and access strategy, ensuring optimal and sustainable patient access to our portfolio. This role requires proactive engagement with key stakeholders and the development of robust access strategies that align with Biogen’s business objectives.

You will be responsible for early access programs, pricing and reimbursement initiatives, and value communication. Your expertise in Saudi Arabia’s access landscape and your strong relationships with government and private sector decision-makers will be crucial in driving our access objectives.

• Develop and implement market access strategies to secure and maintain optimal patient access in Saudi Arabia.
• Monitor evolving healthcare policies, payer priorities, and competitor dynamics.
• Lead pricing and reimbursement submissions in collaboration with internal teams.
• Design and execute pricing tactics, tender approaches, and contracting models.
• Track and report market access performance indicators, providing insights to senior management.
• Build deep customer understanding and engage with key stakeholders.
• Proactively engage with payers, health authorities, and decision-makers to communicate product value.
• Develop and execute strategic stakeholder engagement plans.
• Lead the development and localization of health economic models and value dossiers.
• Ensure compelling articulation of Biogen’s value propositions across access interactions.
• Drive strong internal collaboration across various teams to ensure aligned execution.
• Provide market insights to inform brand planning and strategic decisions.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Saudi pharmaceutical industry, with at least 3 years in Market Access or Key Account Management.
• Strong existing network of key stakeholders across governmental and private institutions in KSA.
• Deep knowledge of Saudi healthcare policy, reimbursement systems, HTA processes, and access pathways.
• Strongly external-facing role, with ~50% of time spent in direct stakeholder engagement.
• 20–30% travel within Saudi Arabia required
