Clinical Support Specialist Joint Replacement – Central Region

The Clinical Support Specialist responsibilities include directly supporting all Stryker products associated with Joint Replacement procedures.

What you will do
  • Managing complex projects and cases end‑to‑end.
  • Providing expert level solutions.
  • Guiding clinical innovation across teams.
  • Anticipating challenges and proactively addressing them.
  • Preparing for cases in advance.
  • Auditing theatre Stryker stock (implants, disposables and instruments), managing consignment inventory, ensuring good asset management practices, utilization of delivered stock, and stock rotation.
  • Attending cases and servicing existing and new customer base within the theatre and clinical environment.
  • Submitting documentation and case‑order‑form for invoicing.
  • Conducting trials and evaluations of products in both theatre and the clinical environment as and when required.
  • Providing theatre and wider HCP staff with in‑depth training on Stryker products.
  • Working closely with other team members within the defined region, and the Regional Manager, to ensure customer service levels are best in class.
  • Understanding the clinical application of the broader Stryker business to offer customers the best possible solution at all times.
  • Implementing training, provision of instruments and new Stryker business.
  • Planning, executing and monitoring all measures necessary to help achieve industry‑leading support. Service and provide customer care for physicians, surgical theatre staff, hospital administration and sterilisation departments.
  • Demonstrating excellent product knowledge and professionalism with the workshop.
  • Reporting to the Regional Manager to ensure customer service levels are best in class.
  • Communicating essential features and benefits of products and their clinical application.
  • Demonstrating outstanding ethics at all times, treating customers and other employees with respect and representing Stryker in the best possible light.
  • Behaving with integrity, delivering on commitments within required timescales.
  • Understanding the clinical application of the broader Stryker portfolio to offer customers an understanding of the wider product range.
  • Conducting trials and evaluations of product in theatre and clinical environment as required.
  • Making observations of customer needs and liaising with product team to follow up on and introduce new or additional Stryker product and/or support.
  • Maintaining a basic business plan highlighting daily, weekly and monthly objectives.
  • Developing an understanding of the local healthcare environment and Regional strategy.
  • Additional responsibilities as directed by the Regional Manager.
Who you are
  • Certified Theatre Practitioner or ODA, professional training in a medical environment preferred. Minimum of 4 years’ experience.
  • University degree or extensive practical knowledge gained through experience.
  • Critical thinking, strategic thinking.
  • High‑level communicator.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative manner with colleagues and customers.
  • Professional, disciplined, focused and organized.
  • Strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to self‑motivate and work under pressure.
