MRZM Investments is a boutique investment management firm based in Riyadh. We are building an institutional-grade operating platform to support our growth and client onboarding.
The roleWe’re hiring a hands-on VP - Operations to own the day-to-day operating engine of MRZM. This role will manage key service providers and ensure our client onboarding, custody operations, outsourced finance, and internal compliance execution run smoothly and are always audit-ready.
Key responsibilities- Own relationships and SLAs with key service providers (Funds Admin, custodians, outsourced finance, outsourced compliance).
- Build and maintain scalable workflows, checklists, trackers, and evidence packs.
- Manage the outsourced finance function (monthly close, reporting packs, invoicing, budgeting, vendor payments coordination).
- Ensure clean, timely management reporting for partners and leadership.
- Primary point of contact with custodians (account opening, mandates, signatories, KYC refresh, settlement escalations, corporate actions).
- Coordinate cash movement controls and operational risk checks.
- Coordinate with Fund Admin on setup, reporting, and data integrity; maintain onboarding pipeline tracker.
- Monitor blackout periods and relevant restricted lists; coordinate with outsourced compliance officer to ensure evidence and monitoring is completed.
- +5 years in asset management operations, fund administration, custody, or investment operations.
- Strong experience with onboarding/KYC/AML, account opening, and working with custodians and administrators.
- Proven ability to manage external vendors and drive outcomes with clear timelines.
- Experience in a CMA-regulated environment (KSA) or GCC financial services.
- Familiarity with managed accounts (DPM) / public equities operations.
- Build the operating platform of a growing boutique asset manager from the ground up.
- High ownership and direct exposure to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Opportunity to grow into a COO-track role as the firm scales.
