The Senior Finance Officer provides end‑to‑end financial oversight and support to the Processing vertical, ensuring strong financial governance, accurate commercial execution, and robust analytical insight. The role is responsible for safeguarding revenue streams, enhancing financial performance, and supporting the business with reliable financial reporting, commercial evaluations, and compliance with regional tax requirements. By partnering closely with internal stakeholders, the Senior Finance Officer enables informed decision‑making and ensures operational and financial alignment across the Processing function.
Responsibilities- Performing Billing for Third Party Banks – for processing services agreements/SOWs : Performing the monthly billing for customers as per agreed rates and ensuring accuracy and compliance to commercials that have been signed and agreed.
- Review of Commercials for NI Customers under the processing business vertical. To review all agreements and addendums – ensuring master repository for all KPI; performing regular checks to ensure no revenue leakages.
- Review of Costs and revenues
:
Assist the business in plugging revenue leakages and costing analysis and generation of customer profitability. Additionally help implement commercial and pricing signoff and approval process for the processing customers when we propose to sign commercials or have a revision of existing contracts. - Analytics, Business cases and Impact Assessments :
To prepare and analyse Rate/volume variances for monthly revenues and provide commentaries explaining the variances . Impact assessments and detailed reviews on Business cases, working closely with Business, Operations and IT to gather all required information on cost and revenues. - Support Receivables management Receivables management and resolution of issues impacting financial performance. Regularly update internal tracker on payments and extend full support to Business and Sales Support team on collections
- Monthly Financial & Management reporting
:
Preparing monthly performance summaries with variance analysis vis‑à‑vis Budgets and prior periods. Providing support in annual Budgeting and Quarterly forecasting of revenues for the processing business. - Understanding and implementing the tax requirements of Processing clients in KSA and / or respective regions, liaise with the business team to ensure agreements upfront include tax treatment as well as ensure appropriate accounting of VAT / Withheld taxes.
- Maintaining SOW/ project tracker to ensure all ongoing projects billing have been taken into account and revenue for closed projects to be moved from Deferred revenue account to P/L
- Volume file, dispatch and filing invoices
:
Update volume file for all banks after ME closing and reporting. Email all invoices and projects billing to Sales Support - Control of reconciliations of GL accounts, under Processing business ownership :
Ensuring correct accounting and reporting of revenue / recharge costs in the books of accounts. Clearing all suspense items and costs
- Sound educational background, preferably with a post‑graduation qualification in accounting and finance.
- Previous experience of 3-4 years preferably in the banking / financial services industry.
- Well versed with accounting, advance excel user, experienced in Accounting programs like Oracle, SAP etc.
- Previous experience in Commercials and Billing verticals of Finance preferably in the banking / financial services industry.
- Should possess good knowledge of Finance and accounting principles [IFRS based].
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate clearly to the business and finance colleagues.
- Knowledge of payment card industry would be preferable.
- Strong team player with the ability to interact effectively with business teams.
- An inquisitive and result‑oriented approach to problem solving.
