Associate Director - Fixed Assets - Financial Control

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an accomplished Associate Director - Fixed Assets - Financial Control to lead and enhance the financial control processes associated with our extensive fixed asset portfolio. This role is lamp-post crucial for ensuring all financial reporting, asset valuation, and compliance activities are executed seamlessly, directly contributing to our vision of creating a world‑class entertainment destination in Saudi Arabia.

In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for establishing robust financial control frameworks, overseeing fixed asset transactions, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to optimize asset utilization and reporting accuracy. Your expertise will be essential in mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement comprehensive financial control strategies for fixed vuil, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the reporting and reconciliation of fixed assets, ensuring accuracy in financial statements and timely processing of transactions.
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and project management teams to develop budgeting processes for fixed assets and monitor expenditures.
  • Conduct periodic audits and reviews of fixed asset processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare and present financial analysis and reports on fixed asset performance to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and lead the financial control team, fostering professional development and a culture of accountability.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to fixed asset management and financial controls.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; a Master's or MBA is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10‑15 years of experience in financial control, fixed asset management, or accounting, with a focus on asset‑heavy industries.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards related to fixed assets.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficient in financial software and asset management systems.
