Principal Business Analyst

Currently headquartered in Saudi Arabia, Soar is growing throughout the region with a mission to help people achieve their financial goals with innovative financial and property investment solutions and tools through its multi-purpose platform, designed to offer a simple and seamless user experience.

We are seeking a Principal Business Analyst to lead the functional design and delivery of mission-critical platforms tailored for the Saudi market. This role requires a deep understanding of the KSA Digital Government & Financial Ecosystem.

You will act as the bridge between stakeholders and engineering teams, translating local regulatory mandates into scalable digital workflows. You will design systems that not only handle financial ledgers but also seamlessly talk to national infrastructure—whether that is clearing payments through SAMA/Mada or authenticating leases via Ejar/Mullak.

• Core Financial & Ledger Workflows
• Lead the requirements engineering for financial systems, focusing on General Ledger (GL) entries, reconciliation, and settlement processes.
• Design end-to-end workflows for products such as Lending, Mortgages, Rent Collection, and Escrow services.
• For Prop Tech:
  Automate lease-to-ledger accounting, ensuring valid "Ejar" contract numbers trigger the correct automated rent collection logic.
• For Fintech:
  Define logic for transaction life cycles (Authorization, Clearing, Settlement) compliant with Saudi Central Bank standards.
• KSA National Ecosystem Integration
• Payment Infrastructure:
  Manage requirements for integrating with Mada (Debit), SADAD (Bill Payments), and SARIE (Instant Payments/IPS).
• Government Services:
  Design API specifications for identity verification using Nafath (IAM) and Yakeen to ensure 100% KYC compliance.
• Prop Tech Gateways: (If applicable) Lead integrations with Ejar (for lease authentication) and Mullak (for HOA/Co‑owned property fees).
• Define precise ISO 8583 message mappings and API contracts (REST/SOAP) that align with these national gateways.

• Experience:
  
  11+ years in Business Analysis, with a primary focus on Fin Tech, Prop Tech, or Government Digital Transformation in the GCC region.

• Fintech:
  Deep knowledge of SAMA regulations, SADAD integration, and Mada payment switching.
• Prop Tech:
  Experience with Ejar (Rental Services Network), Wafi (Off‑plan sales), or Mullak associations.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Ability to define API scopes for government services (Absher/Nafath) and write SQL queries for financial data analysis.
• Process Design:
  Proven track record of transforming manual operations into automated workflows using BPMN tools (Visio, Lucidchart).
