We’re searching for a talented Finance Coordinator to be a key member of Barker Langham’s Business Operations Team in the Kingdom, working collaboratively to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the organization. The Business Operations Team focuses on managing change, driving efficiency, and fostering a unified organization. The Finance Officer will play a critical role in supporting our business plan by overseeing financial processes and ensuring compliance, efficiency, and financial clarity.
JobPurpose
To manage and enhance Barker Langham’s financial operations by providing accurate reporting, effective budgeting, and proactive financial insights that support the company’s overarching goals. The Finance Coordinator will contribute to a culture of transparency, efficiency, and financial integrity while collaborating closely with team members to ensure their operational and financial needs are met.
Responsibilities- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and manage budgets in coordination with the regional finance manager
- Provide financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
- Oversee day‑to‑day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi financial regulations (e.g., Zakat, VAT, GAZT requirements).
- Maintain accurate records for audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
- Handle all tax-related matters, including VAT filings, Zakat, and other local tax requirements.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and standards, including General Authority of Zakat and Tax (GAZT) requirements.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost‑saving initiatives without compromising efficiency or quality.
- Implement and maintain robust financial systems and controls.
- Recommend improvements to streamline financial processes and ensure accuracy.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision‑making.
- Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and safeguard company assets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA are preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia and familiarity with KSA’s regulatory and financial environment.
Skills:
- Proficiency in financial management software (e.g., Xero, Google Sheets, Tableau).
- Strong knowledge of Saudi tax laws, Zakat, and VAT regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
