WOLFFKRAN for Equipment is looking for a talented Project Cost Controller to join our team!
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the giga projects in Saudi Arabia's .
Responsibilities- Monitors Project Expenditures against the approved budget and identifies and reports variances.
- Checks that time is properly accounted for in projects.
- Produces Percentage of Completion Sheets for all the projects, discusses with Project Managers and reports them to Accounting monthly to account for it.
- Analyses cost variances and provides insights for corrective actions.
- Prepares reports and monthly forecasts with Delivery Director, Finance Director, Supply Chain Manager, Commercial Manager (Income, Cost, and Cash Flow).
- Participates in Project Reviews and provides financial updates to Project Stakeholders.
- Records minutes of the cost control and the PMO meetings.
- Ensures adherence to cost control procedures for all projects.
- Reports to Managing Director and Finance Director on how Project Managers and the Operations Department have achieved their KPIs.
- Monitors suppliers’ costs in relation with the P.O. issued and received invoices.
- Helps in the monthly and quarterly closings and production of reports.
Authorities:
Approves project purchase, expenses and amendments within the Business Plan and flags significant cost deviations requiring management intervention to be sent for final approval by the Company Board and MD.
- Degree qualification or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
. - 10+ years’ experience in project cost controlling, change control and reporting in construction projects.
- Understanding and experience in forecasting, budget movements, commitments, EFC and cash flows.
- Ability to work with other multifunctional stakeholders (schedulers/planners, finance, risk).
- Good working knowledge of Excel (essential), experience with SAP advantageous and Odoo.
