The Head of Arranging will lead arranging activities under a licensed Advisory & Arranging framework, driving the origination, structuring, and execution of capital markets transactions for corporate and institutional clients. The role is central to establishing a new platform in Saudi Arabia and positioning the firm as a trusted arranger for debt and equity capital markets solutions aligned with national economic transformation initiatives.
The Head of Arranging reports directly to the local CEO and works in close coordination with the Head of Advising to ensure proper segregation between Arranging and Advising activities. The role also maintains functional alignment with global Corporate & Investment Banking and Strategy teams for transaction structuring, approvals, and best practice support. The position interacts regularly with Compliance, Finance, Treasury, and other central functions as part of the governance framework.
Responsibilities- Lead deal origination and structuring of Debt & Equity Capital Markets transactions
- Manage investor and arranger relationships in KSA, driving syndication and co‑arrangement partnerships
- Coordinate with arranging support teams to align structures and approvals
- Report to the CEO while maintaining Chinese walls between Arranging and Advising activities
- Meet the fit‑and‑proper standards as well as the technical criteria required by the CMA (CMA exams, corporate finance/advisory modules, or exemption)
- 10–15 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, or structured finance, ideally within the GCC
- Demonstrated track record in originating and executing DCM/ECM or private placement transactions
- Strong network of relationships with regional investors, banks, and corporate issuers
- Deep understanding of capital markets structures, financial analysis, and transaction documentation
- Familiarity with CMA regulatory framework and ability to meet fit‑and‑proper criteria, including relevant CMA exams or exemptions
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to operate effectively in a lean, entrepreneurial environment while coordinating with international teams
