Manager Accounting & Finance

Role Purpose We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Manager to lead and manage all financial, accounting, and compliance functions of the organization. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, internal control implementation, and regulatory compliance in alignment with KSA financial laws and other requirements.

This role requires strong technical expertise, hands-on accounting knowledge, and the ability to drive financial strategy while maintaining daily operational excellence.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Accountabilities Key Activities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, payables, receivables, and reconciliations.

• Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings are completed accurately and on time.

• Prepare financial statements and management reports in accordance with IFRS and other relevant standards.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting
• Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.

• Monitor budget variances and recommend corrective actions to management.

3. Taxation & Compliance
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi tax regulations including VAT, Withholding Tax, Zakat, and E-invoicing.

• Liaise with regulatory bodies and external tax consultants/auditors when required.

4. Audit & Internal Controls
• Coordinate with external auditors and ensure successful and timely completion of annual audits.

• Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting procedures.

5. Cash Flow & Treasury
• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and working capital requirements.

• Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage banking relationships.

6. ERP & Financial Systems
• Oversee financial modules of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

• Ensure automation and digital record-keeping best practices.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS

Knowledge / Skills
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and KSA tax laws

• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

• Fluency in English is essential;
Arabic is a plus

Education /

Certifications

• Professional qualifications like CPA/CMA/CA/ACCA (Preferred)

Experience
• Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting & finance experience

• At least 4 years in a managerial role in KSA

• Familiarity with Saudi financial regulations, VAT, Zakat, and WHT
