This role will involve conducting inspections and evaluations of traffic control and enforcement processes, monitoring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing insightful recommendations for improvements based on observed data. As a Traffic Inspector at Applus+, you will play a vital role in our mission to provide top-notch services and contribute to the safety and efficiency of transportation systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections of traffic control measures and enforcement activities to ensure compliance with approved standards and regulations
- Evaluate traffic patterns, road signage, and signaling systems, providing insights on potential improvements
- Prepare detailed reports based on inspection findings and suggest corrective actions to enhance traffic safety
- Inspect road preparation works including grading, leveling, compaction, and base course activities.
- Ensure the road surface is properly prepared before asphalt laying and traffic control installation.
- Monitor excavation, back filling, and pavement structure works.
- Verify alignment, road levels, and cross-sections as per approved drawings.
- Ensure proper drainage preparation before road surfacing.
- Coordinate with site engineers prior to installing traffic signs, barriers, and road markings.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
- Maintain daily inspection reports and documentation
- Bacholar's degree in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in traffic inspection, enforcement, or a similar role within the construction sector
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Excellent observational and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, able to present findings clearly and professionally
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools and Microsoft Office applications
