For our office in Riyadh, we are looking for Senior Materials Engineer
.

ARX is recruiting a Senior Materials Engineer to support the delivery of major PMC road and infrastructure projects within Riyadh. This role is ideal for a senior professional with strong experience in materials engineering, quality assurance, and laboratory/testing oversight within a PMC/consultancy environment. You will act as the technical authority for materials compliance across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to specifications, standards, and quality requirements.

• Lead materials engineering scope across the program, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Review and approve material submittals, mix designs, method statements, and ITPs.
• Oversee testing and quality control for asphalt, concrete, aggregates, soil, and pavement materials.
• Supervise laboratory operations, field testing, and inspection activities.
• Monitor contractor compliance with QA/QC requirements and project specifications.
• Lead resolution of NCRs, technical issues, and material-related site challenges.
• Coordinate with design, construction, and supervision teams to ensure material suitability.
• Support audits, reporting, and handover documentation.
• Mentor materials engineers and inspectors across packages.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Materials Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in materials engineering for road/highway or infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in asphalt, concrete, pavement, and soil testing.
• Experience working within PMC/consultancy or supervision roles.
• Familiarity with international and Saudi standards (AASHTO, ASTM, MOT, etc.).
• Strong reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
• English required (Arabic is an advantage).
