ARX is recruiting a Senior Road Engineer to support the delivery of major PMC road projects within Riyadh. This role is ideal for a senior professional with strong road and highway delivery experience across design review, construction oversight, and coordination within a PMC/consultancy environment. You will act as the technical authority for road works across multiple corridors and packages, ensuring safe, efficient delivery in line with required standards.

• Provide technical leadership for road engineering scope across the program (governance, compliance, and quality).
• Review and endorse road design deliverables including drawings, specifications, BoQs, method statements, and ITPs.
• Oversee delivery of key road elements such as:
  • Alignment and geometric design
  • Pavement design and materials
  • Earthworks and grading
  • Road drainage and stormwater systems
  • Traffic management and temporary diversions
  • Interfaces with utilities, structures, and ITS
• Lead resolution of technical issues including RFIs, NCRs, site constraints, design gaps, and constructability challenges.
• Support construction supervision, inspections, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress and ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Support testing, inspections, and handover activities to ensure operational readiness.
• Coordinate with authorities and stakeholders to secure approvals and maintain delivery continuity.
• Mentor junior and senior engineers and ensure consistent quality across packages.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (master's preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in major road/highway projects.
• Strong knowledge of road geometry, pavement design, drainage, and construction methodologies.
• Proven experience in design review, construction supervision, and project delivery within PMC/consultancy environments.
• Familiarity with international and Saudi road design standards and authority requirements.
• Strong coordination, communication, and reporting skills with ability to lead technical discussions.
• Experience working with PMC / consultant / client-side teams is preferred.
• English required (Arabic is an advantage).
