AutoCAD Specialist

Overview

The AutoCAD Specialist will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings and design documentation. This role requires strong drafting expertise, attention to detail, and collaboration with engineers and architects to ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements.

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for road layouts, construction plans, and infrastructure projects.
• Translate conceptual designs into precise technical drawings using AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy.
• Review, update, and maintain drawings based on project changes and site conditions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Organize and maintain drawing files and project documentation.
• Assist in preparing quantity take-offs and material specifications.
• Support construction teams with design clarifications and modifications.
• Integrate survey data and field measurements into design drawings.
• Provide technical support during project execution to resolve design-related issues.

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit, or Micro Station is a plus.
• Strong understanding of road design standards, construction drawings, and detailing.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, specifications, and survey data.
• Experience in infrastructure or road construction projects.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Effective time management to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office for documentation and reporting.
