Euro Group Engineering Consultancy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced GIS Specialist / Analyst to join our team working on the Operations and Maintenance Project for Riyadh Municipality - AMANA. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing, analyzing, and presenting geographic information to support decision-making processes in urban infrastructure management.

• Process, analyze, present, and extract information about specific locations using GIS technologies
• Work with cutting-edge technologies and methods in geospatial analysis
• Study and analyze information system needs for the project
• Prepare detailed technical work reports
• Design initial models for reports and implement modifications as needed
• Collect and manage complete applications related to road maintenance, flood control, and storm management
• Gather geographic elements and information related to road assets
• Link databases with GIS programs to create comprehensive geospatial solutions
• Create maps and visual representations of geographical data
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS data into broader project strategies

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience for Saudi nationals, 10 years for non-Saudi nationals
• Extensive experience in linking databases with GIS programs
• Proficiency in GIS software, particularly Geo Media and ArcGIS
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operating GIS programs and creating maps
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken)
• Saudi Nationals preferred

• Master’s degree in GIS or a related field
• Experience working on municipal or government projects
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian geography and urban development practices
• Certifications in relevant GIS technologies (e.g., ESRI certifications)

• Advanced knowledge of GIS principles, practices, and technologies
• Expertise in spatial analysis and cartography
• Proficiency in database management and SQL
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python or R
• Familiarity with remote sensing and image processing techniques
• Experience with CAD software and data conversion between CAD and GIS
• Knowledge of urban planning and infrastructure management principles
