Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electrical Inspector (ELV) to join our professional team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and evaluating Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough inspections of ELV systems, including security systems, fire alarm systems, and building automation systems.
- Analyze and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints to ensure proper installation and functionality of ELV systems.
- Perform quality control checks and identify potential safety hazards or code violations.
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation of findings.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to address and resolve identified issues.
- Stay up-to-date with local Saudi Arabian and international electrical codes and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations for system improvements or modifications.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of inspection procedures and protocols.
- Ensure efficient and organized workflow to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in ELV systems inspection or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including security systems, fire alarm systems, and building automation systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Strong familiarity with electrical codes and standards, particularly those applicable in Saudi Arabia.
- Relevant certifications in ELV systems inspection (e.g., BICSI, CFOT) preferred.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a high level of organization.
- Willingness to travel within the Riyadh area as needed for inspections.
- Knowledge of local Saudi Arabian electrical regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Physical capability to perform inspections in various conditions.
