HSE Specialist – Electrical Transmission & Substation Projects
12‑Month Contract
Project OverviewWe are recruiting on behalf of a major Engineering Consultancy Company supporting a large-scale Electrical Transmission and Substation Programme in Riyadh.
The project involves high‑voltage infrastructure works including:
- Transmission line construction (overhead lines)
- Implement and monitor HSE policies in line with SEC and project standards
- Conduct risk assessments for substation and transmission line activities
- Overhead transmission line works
- Cable trenching and HV cable installation
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety inductions
- Perform regular site inspections and safety audits
- Ensure contractor compliance with approved HSE plans and method statements
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed reports
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the project
- B.S. in Engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant HSE experience
- Experience in construction, substation or transmission line projects preferred
- Industry certification from an internationally recognised body (NEBOSH, OSHA or equivalent) acceptable to SEC
- Knowledge of high-voltage construction safety practices
- Strong understanding of local HSE regulations
- Good reporting and communication skills
