Position Summary

The Sales Engineer – Surface Miners & Trenchers will be responsible for driving sales growth for Tesmec’s product lines within Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with strong commercial acumen to support customers, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for surface miners, trenchers, and related equipment.
  • Identify, qualify, and engage new customers across the mining, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and site visits to showcase Tesmec’s equipment capabilities.
  • Prepare and deliver commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documentation.
  • Collaborate with technical and after‑sales teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management.

Skills
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5 years in sales of heavy equipment, trenchers, or surface miners (experience with Tesmec or similar brands is a plus).
  • Languages:

    Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
  • Strong understanding of mining, construction, or utility infrastructure industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP tools.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Saudi Arabia.
