Procurement Engineer

JASARA PMC is seeking a proficient Procurement Engineer to join our team, focusing on sourcing and procurement activities for our engineering and construction projects. • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet project needs
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors
• Negotiate procurement contracts and agreements to ensure the best terms
• Monitor and assess supplier performance and adherence to contracts
• Collaborate with project teams to determine procurement needs and specifications
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders and contracts
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and standards
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement best procurement practices

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably in the engineering or construction sector
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract law, and negotiation techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with vendors and internal teams
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications
• Fluency in English, with proficiency in Arabic being an advantage
